Forgiveness, Trust, and Second Chances

What is it about certain people that cause you to give them another chance, time and time again? Why can’t you help but love some people, regardless of what they’ve done and what they will do? It’s been said that “if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again,” but how do you know when you should stop that last ditch effort?

And why is it that are some people that, regardless of how hard you try and how much you want to, you just can’t quit?
